Long overdue trip to Dad's

It's been a long time since I went to see him & my brothers. It was also a welcome encounter with the boys who I am closest to in my life. On the train journey there, I saw a couple of kids with their mum, about 10 & 12yo. Both were still very close to her & very affectionatly attached. Then there was another kid, about 9yo very cute, scanning everyone, as kids usually do, so I did my best to avoid eye contact. (Not that I was afraid to smile to him or anything, of course.) Before I got to Dad's I spent quite a while talking to Metro online along with another friend who could be come a yf in the future (who knows). At Dad's I was greeted by my enthusiastic 9yo bro who I lifted up & hugged and was told by my 6yo bro that they were playing PS1 upstairs. After listening to the latest family news I went to see what they were upto the bedroom to see what they were doing (loads of noise). They were playing one of the Crash Bandicote games & getting very excited. My 6yo bro put an arm around me & my arm around him, he kept leaning up to see the screen, so I put him on my lap for a better view. I along with him had become the Computer's charachters & whenever the PC won against bro9 & bro11, we'd won (???). (I must remember their Pokemon names to make this easier.) Bro6 as usual made me the centre of his subconcious attention, whilst watching the game, he would lean back & stroke my hair, or move my hands around his waist so I could grip him firmer. The fun ended about 20 mins later; Mum was on her way home & they were not supposed to be playing on the PS1, but Dad had let them, while she was out. Back in the sitting room, we watched TV, Bro6 was stuggling to climb onto me, so I lifted him up in a sort of seating position, holding his bum & lower back & sat him down. "wow, how did you do that" was his comment (he doesn't weigh much, perhaps that accounted for it). Time came for me to go home, just as my step-mum arrived back, we hugged & she asked if I'd got myself a new gf yet (someone better than my partner, who she feels is draining me of cash, but that ended ages ago). During this time, Bro6 had a lengthy goodbye session. "I don't want you to go" he said. So I cuddled him for a good 10 mins, while I spoke to mum. I could feel him holding on & tightening his grip around me & wrapping his legs around my waist. It was a great feeling. I also said goodbye to Bro9 who I picked up & hugged as well. Bro11 had already got into the bath so he called out goodbye from there. Then I left, picked up some food from the superstore & headed home. Halo |
