it is as we all learn to recognise our mistakes and find forgiveness that we move on; to be trapped in the patterns of the past is the biggest mistake that we can make. I'm sorry that you have such a negative view of all things religious, though the recent catastrophic record of the Roman Catholic church has given many a reason to reject it; in reality religion must be found for yourself, and any second hand version is ultimately worthless. Yet for many of us the reality is that religion is what makes life bearable - certainly I have found it 'true' in my own life as I have seen God work in small but definate ways. As I've said before, I am always pleased when a non-BL drops by as it keeps us on our toes and away from the tendency to let too thick a layer of mutual encouragement hide the risk that we are to those we love. So I hope that you do continue to drop by and ask us some hard questions occaisionally.... |
