Nate: First of all, I do apologize for breaching the Forum rules in launching a personal attack [although I view it more as an exposure] upon a poster. I thought it was a fair shot, since the poster in questioned attacked me for my being irrational to have strong objections to any effort to legitimize pedophilia or to coerce society to nomalize the abnormal. I was called "absurd" for using terms like "mature love" and "the innocent." These are just "laughable" costructs, after all. I concluded that if I needed to explain to this person what mature love is and who are the innocents,it's perfectly understandable why he went to prison on a a sexual offense conviction [he obfuscates on the exact charge, claiming victim status for his "Boylove beliefs"]. I'm not saying sew a scarlet letter on people who made a serious mistake and paid for it. But, when this same person posts "adults having sex with children isn't always wrong" I find this disturbing. Perhaps if the Reno Justice Dept found NAMBLA disturbing and did something to prosecute this criminal outfit, Jeffrey Curely might still be among the living today. The First Amendment does not necessarily protect free speech and acting upon it. The Ku Klux Klan, Aryan Nation and anti-abortion groups have all been successfully sued in court by plantiffs who brought wrongful death liability charges against them. The Curley family deserves no less justice for their loss and suffering. Back in April of last year, churh officials uncovered documents in the Rev. Paul Shaney case, on trial for multiple child rape offenses, which detailed his involvement in NAMBLA. I can also tell you that evidence was submitted in court during the Curley family law suit by Defense Attorney Fiscali which documents how NAMBLA is financing an orphanage in Thailand which provides young boys to NAMBLA members who visit there. And so evidence of the use of coercion exists--if these boys who are fed and clothed at the orphanage do not submit they're expelled.
Isn't this a form of violence?

What I DO NOT accept is the mantra that "Boylove" is "love for boys" or stands for "advancing the rights of children." As a social movement, it seeks to gain acceptence of sexual relations between adults and young boys and to repeal age of consent laws. NAMBLA claims in its literature that kids as young as 8 are capable of consenting to sex. "Sex after Eight--and it's too late." You see, the problem I have with you folks is that you support and validate the fraudulent concept that "Boylove" offers only love and being a Boylover is a virtue not a flaw. As Christians, you should view it as a sin and nothing less.

Having said all that I've come here to say..I'll now say Goodbye.
I appreciate the experience and feel I've managed to come to know a few souls who display that stirring of a conscience which eventually can lead to redemption.
