I agree that to film the encounter adds to the harm of the child. However, the child may well be a teenager (the article did not give his age) and there is no indication that the material was in fact distributed. It could have simply been recorded and stored on his local computer, and never have made it to the Internet at all. I agree that if it was posted on the web or in newsgroups that brings the situation to a different level. News articles often slant things and present them in ways to further prejudice readers against minor-attracted adults. We have to be careful and read these things with a grain of salt. I don't mean to minimize what this person did, or that we shouldn't be on our guard. But remember that the story is written from a perspective that might be very different if we were writing it ourselves (as BLs). Peace of Christ, Bach |
