Greetings HopeAgain, "Why did he make me that way? Why didn't he change me into a "normal" person?" The comunity of God's people, even worldwide, are like a body. If everybody was an eye, where would the sense of taste be? If everybody was an ear, where would the sense of smell be? (Can't remember where that verse is from... somewhere in one of Paul's letters, I think.) If God made us a finger, then we should serve him as best a finger could (not by giving others "the finger" either). A finger trying to be a tongue would just be... wrong! This is but the flatulent opinion of a certain bodypart that could cause a LOT of discomfort should it decide to shut up for a week or so... ;-) Earth! Out. Brother Paul. |
