It's kinda amazing that I come here, knowing that i am going to not be welcome, expecting to get beat down, and still choose to post. It's kinda amazing that I am an outsider to your sexual orientation, but have not passed any judgement on you or it because I simply don't feel it's fair. Why? Because i'm not you and I don't have your life or feelings. It's kinda amazing that, as an outsider, I am openminded and willing to learn about something that 99.9% of the public would consider sick. It's kinda amazing that I use my own name instead of a nickname. Why? Because I don'y feel I'm doing anything wrong, and I don't care about the opinions of others who would think me sick for being here. It's kinda amazing that i've responded to all the less-than-friendly responses as a gentleman. Actually, no, that's not amazing. I actually act like a gentleman most of the time. It's kinda amazing that despite all this, I'm still being attacked by people like you. Seems to me there is a portion of the BL community that don't want to be accepted by society. That they've been bitten hard enough by society that they're not willing to give it another chance and have given up on it... so much so that when an honest soul comes through, and actually changes his opinion on very serious issues due to posts from others who are willing to talk with him honestly, he is still treated poorly by people like you. I have a parrot. I adopted her from a family that used to hit her all the time with their hands. She is afraid of hands. She thinks that they are hurting machines, and nothing else. I have worked with her for years, and i have the scars on my hands to show it. However, through constant work, she will now let me touch her beak and rub her head. But some animals - or people - aren't like that. Many people who have been molested may never recover from their emotional wounds. Many who have been smacked around by society for their sexual orientation may never trust society again, no matter how honest a visiting member from 'general society' seems to be. Why? Because of YOUR preconcieved notions. Oh, any body NOT a BL certainly will never listen or try to understand. Secretly, he thinks we're evil. He's thinks we're all sick. Well I've already told you I don't, and if you have an unwillingness to believe me, or at this point have completely destroyed your ability to trust, well then I can't do much more than i've already done. Drifter, maybe you are like my bird. She just sees hands as untrustworthy. It's a completely understandable mindset, especially because all my bird ever understood hands to be were hurt machines, and all you see society to be is a group of people who will never understand nor will ever care to understand you. So maybe you are like my bird. ...or maybe you're just a jerk. I think it's plausable that all minority groups and sexual orientations have their share of jerks. Either way, i do believe that your attitude isn't very Christian-like.
