An update

I wanted to give you a brief update. I had sent JR to stay with my parents until this situation had been resolved. My concern was that Child Protective Services would place JR in protective custody and by sending him to my parents he was removed from the area and they could not take him from me. Thankfully a good friend of mine, who is a senior judge in the court, informed me that there was no need to have JR stay away from me. He had arranged it so that there would be no action taken in that regard. So I quickly went and brought him home. I was never so happy to see him in all the time I have known him. My brother arrived yesterday to offer his support, and many friends have rallied to help me. The legal charges still stand and there is still a chance that I will loose my position at the church. For those who are wondering, the charges, which are based on suspicion and not facts, are that I have molested at least one of the kids I was working with. That is all that I can tell you now. Until this is resolved, I am not allowed to interact with the kids I have been working with. And there is no one who is willing to take my place at this time. At least no one that the elders of the church will allow. I have decided that, regardless of the end results, I am taking an offer that was made to me a while ago. It is as a youth pastor in another state and still stands open. I would be starting over again, and that will be a challenge for me. As for JR, he wants to leave now. He feels, much as I do, that after over 12 years of service to the church, I should be given more support. So, does anyone know what I can do with all this spare time? I am quickly becoming bored and going stir crazy, as it would be. I have so much energy that I could run around the states and still not be able to sit down.
