Greetings PT, I've been away from the internet and CBF as a regular poster for these past months for somewhat personal reasons but felt compelled to reply to your post. I have visited your site more than once; my opinion echos what I've said before--what you are doing is perfectly legal and legit; it provides a positive outlet for your kids. In response to your questions Do you see the joy and the fun in the pics like I do, or am I just biased because I know the kids?--- I see this kind of stuff all the time; one of my friends who lives in the LA area has a ministry similar to yours--reaching out to the ghetto kids. Many of the pictures I've seen of his group and that of many other youth groups are not all that much different than yours; many times the boys will be "mildly undressed" flexing muscles and soforth. Perhapes what you need most is accountability; a group of freinds/peers who share your vision. Do you have such a group? Who on earth would pay to see these type of pictures?"--I'd say exactly what you said here; those who visit your site and contribute to it represent a broad range of occupation and interest and you have the proof to show it, or so it sounds. My question might be in reply "Who wouldn't pay to see those types of pictures." I'd probably do it, just for the sole purpose of helping kids persue a better self image than what they would get on the streets. Even if I never looked at the pics, the support is means to a positive end. That, though, is a somewhat biased statement since I and those who might reply similarly on this board know and trust your motives. At any rate, you seem to be succeeding at this endeavor if your site count and tracker are any indication. Use this as a means to ministry and it will bear fruit.
