Hi Pastor Tim, I finally found a few spare moments to go check out your site (cool! We've got a pastor who tells his boylover flock where the pics are... ;) ) I'd say, certainly the pictures are not bad ones, not depicting naked boys or carrying sexual innuendos (insofar as a bare chest itself is not sexual) or anything like that. Certainly nothing illegal there. But in my opinion you really have to be honest with yourself and say it is a pornographic site. In the general sense, that is, meaning that the pictures are intended for men like ourselves and our friends at BC to be perving over them. Would you strangers to be perving over your boys' bodies, even if mostly clothed? On the other hand, you could argue that this kind of non-pornographic "porn" is in a sense a "ministry" for boylovers in the sense that it allows men who are trying to contain their sexual feelings to be able to view well-made pictures of boys they can admire, without those pictures being explicitly sexual. Still, it's a tenuous argument. On the third hand, their stated intention, and yours, of trying to give the boys some kind of income is certainly admirable. In my opinion, it's not something I would encourage, but I think if the boy is enthusiastic about it, then it's a chance for him to take healthy pride in his own body, and if his parents aren't against it, then let him try it. I would though also be concerned about possible future "side-benefits" when the boy becomes better known to certain interested parties... In short, what the hell is wrong with selling candy? If the law forbids that, and is perfectly happy with a boy selling his body, then maybe it's time to start becoming breaking the law... Love, F.O.D. |
