Thank you Ray for your post, and others who have responded. Let me see if I can answer a few of your questions.. The kids are into the website. They love to come and check how many hits they've received(its a little competitive, but all in fun), look at the Message Board, and check for new orders(which means money for them, of course!!) But to be honest, I think we all know that even though the Website may continue for a couple of years or more, their participation is limited. This is due to two factors-one, just like any other kid they will get bored with it and thats good. When they do they know to tell me and we have had long talks about not letting the money aspect keep them on the page when they have had enough of flexing. After all there are only so many ways you can flex. But secondly, and more importantly, four of the five boys on the site are now actively involved in an acting/modeling school. This is where the real work is involved and this is where the Website was intended to lead them. So how will they feel about their participation in one year, five years, etc? Hopefully if they are successful in modeling/acting, they will see it as an important first step in their careers. If they have not stayed with or become successful in acting, then I'm sure they will look back on the site with fondness as a snapshot of their youth. Something which many of us wish we had to look back on, I'm sure... I know I am going long again, but in regards to discernment and such I have been doing alot of soul searching. And not to be flip or arrogant, as of this writing I am convinced that the site is a good thing and until I feel convicted by the Holy Spirit I will continue it. Yes, it hurts to hear people say I am prostituting the boys. But it forces me to think and pray through the issues yet another time. And I enjoyed what you said about Christian liberty and freedom. I have had to realize that some of my well intentioned Christian friends need to be stumbled inasmuch that they are being legalistic in regards to many things,not only my website. In other words they need a wakeup call. Instead of looking at the pics with suspicion and innuendo, I tell them look at the pics for what they are. Youth, fun and a little bravado, sure, but not enough to be brash. So, there you have it. If this all makes sense, then hopefully I have responded correctly to your post.
