I wasn't meaning to state in my post that a homosexual relationship is acceptable to God, I was merely putting that to the side for a separate discussion since it was beside the point I was trying to make. That's why this point was missing. That separate discussion has been ongoing here for months. The passage you referred to seems to be key, and it seems to me there are two ways of viewing it. God created a woman to complete the man. What is the main point here? Is the fact that the completing person is a woman the main point? In which case the usual view that you mentioned is upheld, that homosexuality is wrong. Or is the main point that God is making the fact that another person was created, in which case the significance of that person being a female is relevant only with regards to procreation, not to the capability of two people to come together in love.
