I recommend that every non-Christian who wants to study Christianity read Evidence That Demands a Verdict : Historical Evidences for the Christian Faith (Vol. 1) by Josh McDowell (Here's Life Pub; ISBN: 0840743785, 1993). Josh McDowell is a "Christian Apologist", meaning he defends Christianity using logic and debate tactics. I own, but have not yet read, Vol. 2. I understand that Vol. 2 is much more scholarly (Vol. 1 is for a general audience). -d (david_tx) |
