This should not be used for "critical" information, like passwords on a computer you use at work. One technique I use is to bury them in plain sight. I may look over to my bookshelf, pick the 2nd book and use the first letter of each word in the title as the password. Since it is the 2nd book, I put a "2" in the 2nd position. So "The Cat In The Hat" becomes T 2 C I T H (the 2 is explained above). You can come up with your own scheme, it can be anything. -d (david_tx on IRC) |
