Thanks to those who are sharing some of my excitement for the journey that I'm on...a journey that I NEVER expected to take. Not in a million years. The good news is that there was too much overwhelming evidence in my life to discount God's existence. God gave me enough reasons to make the leap of faith, but another task, equally important lies ahead for me. Perhaps I wouldn't even be pursuing this next step, if it weren't for the facts that Christians happen to be the ones leading the way for me and because the church that I am "attending" (if you can call going along with a friend attending) is speaking more strongly to me that anything in my previous Jewish life. The church is totally amazing because it is inspirational, it is really fun, it is beyond upbeat and warm and welcoming and the message is CLEAR. Clear as a bell. So because Christianity seems to have gotten me this far, I have to give it a fair chance to prove to me that God's son really did comee down to earth to die for my sins. It is a search that few Jews are willing to take in their lives, but then again I have to believe that few Jews (in America today) have their lives touched the way that mine has been. If for no other reason than to thank God for the blessings so far, I'm going to learn about his son. I hope that some of you will ride along with me :) You are not alone. Ben |
