The Church Is Not A Democracy

Dear Truefriend, I am not a minister, but from what I read in the scriptures, none of the apostles or the ministers of the early church went into a community and "set up" a church. God led them there to preach the "Good News" of the gospel. If there were enough people receptive to His Word, a church was established. If not, they "shook the dust of that city off the soles of their feet", and moved on. I, as a layperson, have no right to say what God's Word is in the face of a true minister of God. I either accept it, or reject it and "go away sorrowful". His message cannot, nor will not be compromised. If you believe you have His message, then don't be discouraged, no matter what happens. If you are in His will you will be accepted, if not where you are, then somewhere else. I am praying that God will give you the answers that you need in this trying time for you, and that you won't be discouraged by the trial. God's love, peace and encouragement, Andy Psalm 37:7 |
