FOD, I want to answer quickly, because I have a bunch of things I'd like to do. And just because I had 2 naps earlier today doesn't mean I have a lot of energy. :-) Do you really believe that all the sin, evil, brokenness in the world is because of one man's (and woman's) transgression? And because Christ died and rose there is no more sin, evil, brokenness? (Is it Paul speaking again!) I think today's understanding of human nature and mix of psychology and religion have produced an impractical theological anthropology. Seems to me that Christ, in his life, death and ressurection doesn't remove the sin, evil and brokenness, but gives victory over sin, evil and brokenness through love! He teaches and does "love"! Love overcomes!!!! Have I mentioned that I'm ready to replace some of Paul's arguments to the early churches with arguments from today's point of view. (Problem is I don't know well enough how people think today to do that coherently!) I may not start a presentation where Paul does, use the arguments that Paul does, but we come out about the same place, thought what I say doesn't sound like Paul! It's sort of like I'm looking at God, the world and people from a different perspective than Paul. For since death came through a human being, the resurrection of the dead has also come through a human being; for as all die in Adam, so all will be made alive in Christ. ... "Where, O death, is your victory? - Where, O death, is your sting?" The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
