Don't confess to any violations of the law here. This is a public forum, and there is a slim chance that it could be traced back to you, particularly if your phone line or internet connection is tapped under a warrant. I think it's OK to say someone suspects you have committed a crime, or that you are under or are about to be indicted, but don't say anything here you wouldn't want a jury to hear.
