Dear Scott I have come to understand myself as a boylover only recently in my life, the last couple of years; I am 38. My love for boys is nonsexual but I do like physical contact such as hugs. Boys are the highest art of God's creation. Most boys are not only beautiful but they are also fun to be with. Some adults have described me as a big kid. The boys in my life allow me to be a boy like them again. For example, I took a 12 yo friend to a hockey game and my wife wanted to come with us. Neither he nor I wanted my wife to come because she would ruin the fun because she wouldn't like some of the male type activity we do like spitting your gum out of the car window, trying to fly a paper airplane down to the ice surface when the usher wasn't looking, burping if you need to during the long drive to arena without someone giving you a disgusted look. As far as society's views and reconciling my Christian faith with boylove it is a non issue for me because my love for boys is deep, caring, loving, but also platonic. Scott, I hope one boylovers perspective is helpful but their are diverse opinions out there about boylove. Grace and Peace Brother Saint |
