Chris -
I'm very sorry to hear about Tobby and certainly enlightened to hear about his faith. It reminds me of how moved I was the day I heard one of the twins pray in front of me....and for me. It was awesome.

You reminded me of a story even though its a bit of a nonsequator:

A five year old boy was told that his sister was probably going to die unless she had a blood transfusion. After testing the whole family it was determined, that he, the boy, was the only person whose blood type matched. The mother explained to the boy what had to be done. Afraid as he was, he said that he would do it. During the transfusion, the boy looked over at his sister, watching the life come back into her face as his blood was pumped across the room. Although he was now feeling tired and a bit lightheaded from his own blood loss, a smile came over the boy's face. He looked up at his mother who also smiled and brushed her son's hair out of his face, proud of his courage.
"Mommy", the boy said, "Will I die right away or does it take some time."

You see the boy, when he had agreed to do this, hadn't understood that he didn't have to give his sister ALL of his blood.

You are not alone.
