Episcopalians on pederasty

Just a brief visit here; if you know of any saints who are charge of directing the writing of fantasy novels, I'd appreciate a prayer or two in that direction. :)

As I mentioned to someone below (and I'm sure others here knew this already), the New Testament scholar Robin Scroggs proposed in 1983 that Paul's indecipherable terms for homosexuals referred to pederasts and their partners (he said they referred only to abusive pederasts and call-boys, but this distinction hasn't been maintained by other writers). I thought you might be interested in this sentence from a resolution in favor of same-sex union rites, submitted to the Episcopal Diocese of Maryland (and unlikely to pass); it shows how deeply this theory - that Paul condemned pederasts rather than homosexuals - has permeated the Church.

"In searching the scriptures, it has become increasingly apparent that passages once treated as condemnations of homosexuality are more likely to refer to a form of sexual abuse that cannot be equated with loving relationships of mutuality and reciprocity between adults."
