Somebody reminded me by e-mail that the IRC logs show identifying information such as IPs. I'd only seen one reprinted log, with that information snipped out, so I'd forgotten this. I also didn't mean to imply that people should reprint the logs here without the permission of the people posting. What I meant was that, if there was an especially interesting conversation, perhaps somebody could reprint the relevant, non-identifying bits after receiving permission from the authors. Heather |
