Nope, I hadn't forgotten – I just never knew that he had taken part in BA discussions; I thought he was a friend of yours with loose connections to BA. Gosh, Bridges Across is starting to sound like ancient history, Internet-wise. I've been reading through the posts from February of last year, and I feel like somebody should put a collection of them together entitled, "How to Carry on a Civilized Dialogue." The parts where I thought everyone was getting out of hand appear, in retrospect, to be incredibly amicable in comparison to the way conversations are carried on in most other places. It's really a jungle out here. (Well, not here at CBF, another bastion of civilization.) I'm glad that BA was my first and gentle introduction to Internet forums. Heather |
