you know, I spent some time reading your other post today.and I can tell you spend very much time pointing out the sin's of others.Yet not one word about YOUR repentance,or your sins...sorry sjm. but untill you see that you do not deserve to go to heaven,and that your not any better than a homosexual,drunkard,murder,adulterer,thief or any of the other myraid sins,that men are guilty of,you remain destined to a state of spiritual blindness.you believe that God will judge us,I would remind you that he already has,and everyone of us has been found guilty,and everyone of us deserves the death penalty (that includes you sir).Salvation is truely recieved by those that know they are not worthy of it.I would remind you af mary magdelene and simon,simon couldn't understand how the lord could recieve such a sinner (IE, aldulteress,prostitute,guilty of sexual sin, of wiche the death penalty applied)That is the mystery of Christ,He is able to love and forgive us.and it is that love that gives us the strength and ability to change.that is why Christ assured us that he would never leave or forsake us,he know's that is what we need to overcome sin.In an earlier post you stated "I will judge" that statement alone is a direct contridiction of scripture,even a person like me, can see that you do not understand (or are just plain unwilling to obey it)the command to love your enemy's. PS- to the truely faithfull on this board, please keep me in your prayers.I'm still drinking,but I have felt a very small renewel of faith.And thankyou all for the kind replies to my earlier post. lawless (wondering if I should consider changing the nick) |
