That's one possibility. You should visit alt.abuse.offender.recovery some time – if you think the flames are bad at BoyChat, you should see what the offenders go through. They're continually attacked by (1) pro-sex boylovers who think they're destroying the world, and (2) pedobashers who think they're destroying the world. I was being a little vague in my wording, because I was actually thinking of two situations: (1) abuse survivors (including recovering offenders who were abused) who associate boylove with their abuse, rightly or wrongly, and (2) recovering offenders whose "encounters" consisted of being boylovers at one time and who are now trying to stay away from that. It's similar to what one boylover told me early on, when he told me about a recovering offender site (I'm paraphrasing him from memory): "I used to take part in that forum before I realized how damaging those ideas are, and so now I never visit there."
