Hi FOD - Your points about the purpose of men and women is very well taken. God created woman because man was lonely. If he meant for men to keep each other company, he didn't need to bother with women at all (and life certainly would have been easier). The fact that homosexual relationships are physically problematic (ie - they cause physical damage and carry a very high risk of transmitting disease) is a clue that perhaps God didn't intend for them to be. On the other hand, God does want us to love and if one loves a man (or a boy) it does not seem inherently wrong or contrary to God. If we are to premise basically God does not want us to live homosexual lives (although we certainly can love other males in non-sexual ways!) then why does homosexuality and boylove exist at all, particularly for those who are Christians and are following God? I know that I keep asking this question.....for me it is the most important one in the world and, like you, I cannot exactly bring it up with the brothers in church :) You are not alone.
