If the Lord is *good* and omnipotent, then why does he let the Devil tempt us? I think you would say it's something about the free will and the choice between good and bad. But I could *well* imagine a world where all Humans are *good* and the devil doesn't exist. Free will would still exist, however, the choices would be between different "good" options. Darnit, if I don't want my child to eat chocolate, I just don't tell him about chocolate instead of putting a bar in front of him, saying: "Smells nice, eh? But don't dare to eat it!" That's *deliberate* torture! |
