Tygyr, et al., What I keep telling my sister is you've got to judge whether the information from the voices (her's had been mostly relatives and an occasional office girl, through a speaker in the ceiling) is reasonable and accurate when compared to other sources! Seems to me that any discussion on biblical errancy has to consider some of the relatively unexplored capacities of the human psyche involved in what have been called revelations. If there have been studies, I'm unaware of them, which wouldn't be unusual. Seems to me though, that secular sources, particularly, treat religious experience as not even worthy of study, and most religious sources don't examine religious experience "scientifically." Ten years ago I had an experience which I can call nothing less than a visitation of the Holy Spirit after a YF said he didn't want to be friends anymore, which I haven't been able to talk about much at all.
