Hi Ben, I have heard that Paul suffered with some sort of habitual sin in his life. He went through a lot of pain and anxiety in his life battling this sin. I am pretty sure that Romans is (in part) his account of how he had to deal with this issue. When I read it, I can sympothise completely with him because it sounds like me. I believe Paul reached the conclusion that God's grace is sufficient in his life. I think when Christians worry way too much about this part of thier lives or that part, they can get lost in all the worry. I think that maybe it's a good idea to simply learn to relax a little bit and just trust God to make sense out of it all. Your bro in Christ, Chris |
