that was my way of reaching out to you , i suggested you stop posting on boychat and go read the old posts looking for ones from posters who state they attend church and see the responses they get . then maybe you might see why you are being met with such opposition but then you pop over here and dump a little fire and brimestone on jim thinking foolishly that he would not find out about it . you are everything i find offensive about followers of the letter rather than the WORD , remember the pharasees followed the letter and what HE called them whited tombs looking good on the outside but full of rot on the inside. grab your good book and see how HE treated the publicans the prostitutes , the sameritan woman ,the centurian , and especially the children..and then re read your hate message to jim in the light of how HE dealt with others . the fact that you had to ask others if they thought you were writing hate shows you still have a long journey ahead of you . scruffy a recovering christian sorry folks but the truth is i can no longer follow the way of the christian churches ,it is to painful for me to go into them ,but i will attempt to be a little less harsh on those who do as long as they don't try to ram their faith down my throat. p.s i still think HE was the best example of a boylover and i will give you my reasons why , HE took young john under his wing he showed affection to him , john was alowed to lay his head publicly on the masters breast john , the beloved disciple ,in return was the only apostle brave enough to risk being with his beloved MASTER at the end he never abandoned HIM . HE said to his mother take care of him he now is your son . in HIS last moment of anguish HE made sure his young friend was taken care of and then HE gave up HIS SPIRIT > this truly was the greatest example of what boylove could be in my opinion . |
