Hi Drifter -- "The Problem of Evil" has been extensively analyzed and debated for many centuries by some of the greatest Christian philosophers. I think all of them would agree that the "problem" can't be "solved" by quoting Biblical verses as proof-texts. We humans were created in the image of God. We are endowed with free will: we can freely will evil rather than good. Mysterious, isn't it? -- Bonzo |
