Hi there, It's very difficult for me to relate to your experience in church because I was raised (and still am) a Methodist. Stephen King in his book Tommyknockers very accuratly described Methodists as "the least demonstrative sect of Chrisianity who believe that the only apropriate place to say 'Amen' was at the end of the Lord's Prayer and at conclusion of the few hymms not sung by the choir." My mother taught me to sit still in church so the idea of laying on the floor and getting the Spirit is hard for me to grasp. Having said that, I'm glad that you felt His power is such a strong way and I'm glad that you feel that your love for boys is a gift from God rather than a cross to bear. While I would not make any decisions while caught up in emotion, if you still feel this way after a while, embrace the role you feel God is calling you to. Night Wolf |
