Hi Quandry, I must admit that I am having a very difficult time with this as well. It is very hard to understand or stomach the death of anyone, let alone a beautiful child. I was a friend to a young twelve year old boy once and he, and most of his immediate family, were klled in a tragic auto accident. It took me a LOT of time, crying, and drinking to get over it. And actually I'm probably still not over it because I still miss him (and his family) so much. He never knew I love him and Inever got the chance to tell him. I think time is the best "healer" of the death of a loved one. However, I don't think you ever realy do forget. I guess the old saying,"try to remember the good things about him/her" is probably very wise and good. I don't know why God does what He does but I DO know that His ultimate plan is one of the highest good, and soI trust His decisions in other peoples (and my own) life. Your's in Christ's Love, Chris |
