Owa tygoo siam?

Once I watched a baby die of an addiction to heroin. Once I watched a baby die of AIDS. Once I had the special pleasure of watching a four-year-old die in my arms of a beating administered by his "God-Fearing" father. These are the things I call "generational curses;" the evil passed down from one generation to the next because the general human is too stupid to change anything; biology overcome by environment.

But you, you pick and choose among little words and claim special knowledge of God. You believe one thing but not another; the fallacy is not even evident to you. I pity you.

So tell me, Some Guy, how is it that a fair and loving God visits the sins of the fathers upon the sons? Does that seem reasonable to you? Does it seem fair? Or is God perhaps not fair?

Rue, thinking you and your particular breed of snake-handler have skipped the usual fundementalist thing about not ever getting angry.
