Hi Night Wolf, Sorry about that. Yes, I have read your posts. I guess I hadn't actually thought of you as a regular here. You're kind of new, yes? I'm actually thinking more about several regulars here who swore to me on RDC that they stand up against homophobia and hatred and that their religion doesn't tolerate that sort of thing. Yet when some fanatic like SGITNW calls me evil and cursed, they are silent. So they are hypocrites and they lied to me. I told them that their religions tolerate and possibly even encourage hatred and they told me I was wrong. I believe the facts demonstrate that I was entirely correct all along. The silence is deafening. It seems to be next to impossible to get a Christian to condemn homophobia. And I believe that the tolerance of hatred I've been experiencing is one of the big reasons Christianity has had so many terrible consequences. There must be something about the common Christian experience that prevents followers from taking a stand against hate. I'm glad you are not that way. Thanks for replying. Jim |
