Hi Jim, I am, by far, no expert on the subject of demon possetion but here is what I think. Jim, the fact that you are gay is not an indicator that you are possesed by demons. I have never met anyone who was possesed by demons so I'm not sure exactly what such a person would say or do, but if you take as examples the stories about demon possesion from the Bible, you don't fit the description at all. You are rational and coherant (judging from what you write) and you aren't complaining about foaming at the mouth or anything. I think you are probably as demon possesed as, say, the nearest rock. Jim, I don't know if we will ever see an end to homophobia in our lifetime. I can hope so but I don't think it will happen. I don't know if people will ever be able to accept boylovers in "thier" society either, again, probably not. That is why we are here, because we can't find anywhere else to be able to get together and relate with one another. People on the "outside", including (unfortunately) a whole lot (majority?) of Christians, do not accept us. But we all know something that they do not seem to comprehend. God loves us. And He DOES accept us just as much as He does anyone else. Well, that is my two cents worth plus. I did make a general statement about how I feel about any homophobics coming here and disrupting things or making a pest of themselves. I won't go for it at all. This is not the place for that kind of nonsense, we have enough things to discuss to keep us very busy without having to deal with that too. If this kind of thing happens again, I will try speaking with the person if you like, if you think it will help. Other than that, I'm not sure what else can be done. Your friend, Chris |
