More frustration than boredom. I went several days without reading that thread, then read it and sent the emails. I think the frustration shows in the email I sent to both of you. I am very ignorant of demons, and I cannot even say with 100% certainty that any particular person is not possessed, any more than I can say they won't live to be 120 years old. However, the odds are so slim I assume nobody is possessed until proven otherwise. There is an alternative to taking a stand: dialog and engagement. Instead of saying "I'm right, you are wrong", say to them "What do you think? why? what if I were to tell you new information, would that change your mind?" This is what I am trying to do with SGitNW. Unfortunately he hasn't responded to my latest emails. He has also stopped posting, so I'm not sure if he's seeing this message. -David ("d") |
