Welcome to Christian Boylove Forum. You don't have to be a Christian or a Boylover to be on this forum, although I'm guessing it doesn't hurt. I invite you to go back to Jim's skating-moments on BC (there are several). In some of them he clearly shows traits associated with Christianity, including friendliness, the willingness to listen, putting others in front of himself, smiling, making others feel good, etc. The time, effort, and money he has put into FS for others shows that he can act unselfishly, another trait commonly associated with Christians. Also, he is very tolerant - he even let Rev. Pringle (I forget the name) stay until the good Reverend forced the issue by going to far. Such mercy and grace, well, sometimes I don't have that much mercy and grace. I consider Jim's lack of grace with SGitNW to be an anomoly. He has explained him reasons for posting the way he does to SGitNW and I must respect them, but this situation is a big abnormal (it's not every day someone calls possessed). In summary: Jim is not a Christian, but he is a good man. I have known Christians (yes, REAL Christians) who were having problems with their relationship with Jesus and were not good men. I hope you stick around, but I would ask that you not be inflammatory. If you must insult Jim, take it to email, his address is public. -David ("d") |
