Heather, The bible is pretty clear on who has the right to pass judgement: 1 Corinthians 4 3I care very little if I am judged by you or by any human court; indeed, I do not even judge myself. 4My conscience is clear, but that does not make me innocent. It is the Lord who judges me. 5Therefore judge nothing before the appointed time; wait till the Lord comes. He will bring to light what is hidden in darkness and will expose the motives of men's hearts. At that time each will receive his praise from God. Bible thumping so called "Christians" who throw fire and brimstone at BLs and BL sites are doing nothing more than playing judge themselves in a feeble attempt to make their own sins seem less serious. I believe that God knows our hearts, and I know that he does not count one sin any higher than another. God wants all of us to accept our sinful nature, to repent and to turn to him for help. How can we be humbled before God when we are passing judgement on others? You are not alone. Ben |
