Back when folks used to ask me about my "denominational affiliation" I'd just answer "Christian". That rarely satisfied anyone, since we're all into labels, so I came up with Mennobapticostalan. That usually confused them enough to either laugh or go away shaking their heads. (I only answer direct questions if I feel like it.) So to answer yours, Mennonite marries Baptist, their kid starts following Christ after a pentecostal-type experience, but eventually finds himself singing in a smells-and-bells Anglican choir. And then from Canterbury to Constantinople, at which point he simply became Orthodox. Dirk |
