d - Something about this post rubs me the wrong way. I hesitate to reply because I don't want you to think that I'm angry or resentful of you. On the contrary, I enjoy having you here. But I do have to tell you what your post appears to reveal: While your intention I think is to say that you are encouraged by the faith that a BL has, denying himself of what he most desires. It comes out in your post though that what is really encouraging for you is to know that your sins aren't as bad and sinister as ours (a BLs) are. Therefore, it diminishes the severity of your sin. In fact, the very people who have come through the BL web sites, cursing and bible thumping pedophiles have had the very same attitude. Lukewarm protestant old ladies feel much better about themselves and their own sinful lives, by looking for those who are worse than they are. The very same men who get drunk, beat their wives and kids and cannot hold down a job, justify themselves by pointing out that at least they are not child molesters. The truth of course is that we are all sinners, and we all need to repent. God doesn't care what our sin is, he only cares what we do about it: Luke 15:7 I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.
