Faith is all we have to get us through the day. Faith in ourselves. Faith in our fellow man (usually a disappointing faith). Faith in whatever we choose to believe in. If you awaken each day with the idea that your faith is being tested or you won't have the strength of faith to carry you through the day...You've already lost the battle. But, on the other hand, if you percieve your faith (in whatever it is you want to percieve) as a shield (to protect you) instead of a wall (to keep out bad influences) then your battle is already won without a single blow. Faith is a fickle companion only because it's easier for us to choose to hide behind it instead of holding it before us like a beacon to light our way. Love |
