I was reading through all of the threads and although I dont have a degree in the natural sciences Im pretty intelligent anyway and have done plenty of ultimate truth searching in my life. So I guess Im as qualified as anyone to ponder them. I want to ask why one person would want to change someone elses beliefs. Why cause someone to doubt what they believe when it gives them comfort to believe it? Seems a lot like the old "Im taking you down with me" cliche. Or maybe "misery loves company". Ive read here that most think its a good idea to allow non christians to view their opinions. And I do agree but when it turns to pointing out flaws in a belief system I dont agree. Strengths of faith differ and I dont think on a christian message board there should be posts that would cause someone to turn away from God. Sure, for the strong it causes them to fill the gaps and get an understanding of a non believers beliefs (or lack of) but for another it be all they need to turn their backs and God and live the rest of their life thinking they will only be wormfood in the end. And nobody truly knows anything. But I cant imagine what this world would be like without those that believe anyway...
