Witness, I know that what was done to you has caused you a lot of pain. I was abused as a boy myself. I thankfully have not had contact with the person who abused me in many years. I cannot fully imagine what it would be like to have to deal with your situation. But, I think you paint us here with to broad a brush. It is not good to put people in narrow categories. Non-Christains lump all Christains in with the likes of the witch hunters of Salem or the Spanish Inquisition and many other crazies that most true Christains retect. People are way too different to narrowly categorize as pedophiles. There are some people who get put into that category who do truely terrible things and others who do not. Can I tell you that I will never rape a child? Only with Gods help. "I can do all things through Him who strengthens me." Philippians 4:13 (NASB) I do not believe that sex with another male is ok by God's standards (others on this webboard do not agree with me on this point, again we are not all the same) much less a boy. I am in as much control of my actions as any Christain. I do not wish to sin and with His help I can keep from doing that which I should not. Enzo |
