Here is my original post to Black Wolf on the General Discussion of Child Safety and Protection of the Children Board: Opening the door by Bach Hello Blackwolf, Thank you for posting our link to CBF in this forum. It allowed us to get to know Witness, a wonderful and compassionate woman who is eager to learn what we are all about. I have read some of the links from this message board and I would like to make a few friendly comments. In my experience, the internet is the least effective means of building a relationship with a child. I can think of one hundred better ways in my own neighborhood. But this irrational fear that I can not control myself -- that it is not possible for me to refrain from raping a child -- is ridiculous from my perspective. Why is support bad? I think the internet is a great tool for pedophiles to come together and be accountable to one another for their actions and decisions. It is better for us to be in community rather than isolated and scared. In my opinion, that's where the problems begin, when we are alone. Rather than reacting to the fear of people we don't understand, it would be far better to take the courage to get to know "the enemy" and live what he is living and through that understanding we can better protect our children.
