If you know a lobbyist or someone involved in partisan politics, they will know the "rules of the game" in getting legislation or department-level rules established so this kind of thing doesn't happen in your state. By the way, unless you live there, Colorado isn't "your" government, they are a separate soverign entity. Since no "federal issues" are involved, they are accountable only to themselves and to the people of Colorado. If this doesn't die down soon though there will be a few serious boycotts (I'm speculating). -David ("d") |
