I am hoping and praying that this little boy gets the right support from our government... some things concern me about this case. 1. Why there was no arrest warrant, where was child protective services?? Both reports I've read on this(ther other being a link from the network 54 Forum :o) ) I've not read anything about them being brought in.. When I was abused Child Protective Services had to get involved and why wasn't this child's lawyer allowed in to see him?? Heck, a grown man in prison gets to see his lawyer. 2. Why didn't one of the parents stay behind to be with the kid?? See if someone had advised me to leave and go back to Switzerland, I would've had to of sent my husband and the other kids and stayed behind, no way would I leave and leave one child behind... he needs his Mommy. 3. I am wondering how much of the rumor or whatever you wanna call it is true about the parents operating a porn video business or whatever. Its so easy to forget about that but I mean... honestly we really don't know. And these child molestors can be so darn sneaky sometimes it would be hard for the authorities to know also unless one of the kids spoke up. Bottom line is I want this boy safe period and I want the State of Colorado to have to handle this with the utmost of care and consideration,, regardless of this boys gender/age, he's still a little boy who is very impressive... and I'd like to hear more from this neighbor... you know... my kids wrestle and play around constantly... who's to say that someone could see them and see something that could be interpreted as "an inappropriate touch"? I think stuff like this needs to be handled w/such tenderness and care, and lets just say this boy did touch his sister in the wrong way... we would need to know why? has he seen someone else do this b4? which I know I read that they are planning to "rehabilitate" this boy.. This is a tough story to read about.. As far as comparing it to the Ramsey case, its unfortunate that the state didn't do more for this little girl.... I'm really believing that the parents know or had something to do with this. But this shouldn't stop anyone from helping another child when they need it the most. And I'm proud of all of you for wanting what is best for all children. |
