witness -
This is not an official comparison to other BL forums. However, I think that I have been involved in the BL community on the net longer than any other regular posters here.

I found boychat (the original BL forum) almost 4 years ago which is a lifetime in internet years. At that time I was a boylover, had never molested a boy and believed that touching a boy sexually would be dead wrong. Over the course of two years I learned to accept myself as a human being with value and worth. My views on consentual relationships between men and boys became neutral. I never knew that a boy might consent to sex so I never considered it. NAMBLA supports this view. By the end of my time at boychat, I basically supported NAMLAs view that boys who really would consent to sex should be allowed to have it.

God began calling me before I had a chance to test whether I really believed that boys and men should be sexual with each other. I became a Christian this year and would now never engage in a sexual act with a boy, more because he is male than because he is a child. Although I am not staunchly opposed to the possibility that those who chose to ignore God's will might be able to have meaningful, valuable relationships with children, I basically see more potential for harm than good. I do not believe that morals should be legislated, but I think that alot of children are too easily encouraged to pursue their homosexual nature when they engage in sexual activities.

Whereas posts of a sexual nature occasionally cropped up on boychat over the years, the online community self regulated it pretty well, acknowledging that they would only be able to stay online if they kept away from it. EVERYONE agreed that it was better to have support without the sex than to not have the support. This forum is one step removed from even that viewpoint, making it highly unlikely that anything even moderately enticing might appear in a post. The supposition that any post would be elicit is absolutely wrong. I am sure of it. There is a large gap between Christian BLs and NAMBLA in my opinion. I am not saying that NAMBLA supporters do not post here, but the views on this forum are NOT Nambla views in general.

You are not alone.

Ben

PS - Here is the scripture you were looking for:

Matthew 19:23

Then Jesus said to his disciples, "I tell you the truth, it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven.
