comparing thoughts on the book of John made me get out my bible, the one I use to highlight verses when I'm doing a lesson or listening to a sermon...I got to looking at some other verses to see what I had marked in the past.. funny how you do that sort of thing and when you go back and read what your marked you like it just as much now as you did then. Hebrews 13:2 Do not forget to entertain strangers,for by doing so some people have entertained angels without knowing it. 1 John 3: 18-20 Dear Children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth. This then is how we know that we belong to the truth , and how we set our hearts at rest in his presence whenever our hearts condemn us. For God is greater than our hearts, and he knows everything. |
