8The LORD is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love. 9He will not always accuse, nor will he harbor his anger forever; 10he does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities. Dgennero - The definition of grace is undeserved love or forgiveness. We can never earn the salvation that God has given us through the blood of Jesus. We continue to be imperfect. Do you love a child less because he messes up? I do not agree that love has to be earned. Love does not operate under such boundaries. See 1 Corinthians 13, one of the most incredibly poetic parts of the bible. No suprise since it is all about love. You are not alone. Ben |
