When I started to get caught up on the messages I'd missed over the past few days, I decided I needed to spend some time putting some of my thoughts about the Trinity on the board. (I'm going to a concert this evening, so it won't be tonight.) I'll post it as a new topic, hopefully by Saturday night. Dirk P.S. T.F. Torrance is a Reformed theologian who has written too many books to mention. He's one of three major theologians writing on the Trinity from a relational standpoint today -- Colin Gunton and Metropolitan John Zizioulas are the other two. Ask your pastor! Oh, and Colin Leupp wrote an exceptionally good book called "Knowing the Name of God" which deals with this sort of thing. That's published by InterVarsity Press, and it's much less "academic" than the others. |
